From the time Mary was a little girl growing up in rural Nebraska, she wanted to write. She loved school and when the end of the year rolled around, she hurried home to play “teacher.” Unfortunately, she had difficulty rounding up students willing to sit under her tutelage. Undaunted, she eventually went off to college where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Having taught French to secondary students for three years, she decided to add a Master’s Degree in Counseling. After she moved to Washington State with her husband and daughters, she was blessed to have had a 30-year career at a community college. Upon retirement, she was awarded Faculty Emeritus.
Mary is available to speak at conferences, for book clubs, church groups, retreats, etc., delivering inspirational and motivational talks to women across the country. See what others have to say about her presentations on her Speaking page.
